Harden Healthcare provides a continuum of care addressing a range of healthcare needs, including rehabilitation, home healthcare, assisted living, skilled nursing, pharmacy services for the long-term care industry and hospice care. The companies under the Harden umbrella include:
TRISUN Healthcare— manages skilled nursing, rehabilitation and assisted living facilities in many areas throughout the state of Texas
MBS Rehab — provides rehabilitation services in various clinical settings, particularly long-term care facilities
MBS Pharmacy — provides medication services to long-term care facilities
Lighthouse Hospice — a hospice provider with operations in the following areas in Texas: Tomball/Conroe, Georgetown/Temple, Corpus Christi, Austin/Burnet and Brownwood/Eastland.
Girling Health Care — provides a wide range of home healthcare services, with operations in Texas, Iowa, Missouri, West Virginia, Florida, Illinois, New York, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
All of the Harden Healthcare companies share a similar approach to care—focusing on physical care, but also spiritual and emotional care as well. For example, all TRISUN Healthcare facilities have on-site chaplains who provide spiritual support to residents and their families.
Harden Healthcare began operations in January, 2002, with six long-term care facilities in Central Texas. Since that time, TRISUN Healthcare has grown to a total of 25 facilities and has expanded to San Antonio, the Corpus Christi area, San Angelo and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The other Harden companies were added since then, but the philosophy has remained the same even as the company has grown at a significant rate.
