Celebrating Harden Healthcare's 10th Anniversary by Helping Our Local Communities

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, employees of Harden Healthcare participated in the "10 for 10" Canned Food Drive. We were able to celebrate this special milestone for our company by helping feed the less fortunate in our local communities. Over the course of 10 days in early March we collected over 6,000 canned goods and nearly $300 in cash at our facilities and office locations, the total of which provided over 7,900 meals to local food banks.
Harden Healthcare Named a Top Workplace in the Greater Austin Area

Harden Healthcare has been named a "Top Workplace of Greater Austin 2011" by the Austin American-Statesman. Workers were asked to rate their employers on six key workplace issues, including company direction, company communication, opportunities for career advancement and training, workplace atmosphere and environment, management quality and employee compensation.
"What makes this award so near and dear to my heart is that it came directly from our employees, who we refer to as associates," Lew Little, chief executive officer of Harden Healthcare, said. "Harden's corporate culture, including associates' job satisfaction, is very important to us. We are able to provide the best possible care for our patients because our associates at every level look forward to each day with a sense of pride and purpose."
The Austin American-Statesman partnered with WorkplaceDynamics, a Pennsylvania-based company with expertise in employee surveys, to identify the top workplaces in the six-county Austin area. Nearly 150 companies were surveyed and of the 85 awarded a top workplace distinction, only 10 came from the large employer category.
Survey results showed that Harden associates feel they have a good work/life balance and are part of a meaningful organization. Additionally, associates expressed that managers not only listen but also help them grow and learn. Happiness with career opportunities at Harden also ranked high on the employee surveys.
